In the New York Times of November 15, 2006 Eric A. Taub has collected a useful list of simple rules for "How to make your web site sing for you". Taub refers repeatedly to Jacob Nielsen who is my major source for advice on web site design for quite some time. Highly recommended.

Observation on the speed of technological change

In one of the RFID-reports published by the Institute for the Future I found a nice observation by Paul Saffo, who is an IFTF staff member:

"It takes 30 years for a technology to become an overnight success."
